Le Bruit des Dunes 2023
Perhaps you’ve never heard of this cultural and artistic event on the Atlantic coast? Its name is poetic, soft to the ear and evocative of meaning… What is Bruit des Dunes? First of all, really, it’s the sound made by certain desert dunes when the grains of sand that make them up resonate. It’s a mysterious name, sounding soft and noisy at the same time, which naturally plunges us into the world of music and festivities. It’s also the name of this superb new edition of Saint-Brévin-les-Pins’ summer cultural program. Concerts and brass bands, shows, dances, fireworks, monumental sculpture symposium… With, as a backdrop, an impressive open-air exhibition, “Derrière l’océan”, featuring 46 artistic tableaux on the theme of the Brevin landscapes, their fragility, transformations and subtleties.
