For holidaymakers, the &#8220;Pavillon Bleu&#8221; label guarantees not only the <strong>quality of bathing water<\/strong>, but also waste management and public awareness of environmental issues. Each year, the label is awarded to towns and villages that are constantly striving to <strong>preserve the environmental quality of their beaches<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is a supervised beach?<\/h2>\n\n<p>Located just a hundred meters from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rochelets.com\/\">your campsite in Saint-Br\u00e9vin-les-Pins<\/a>, the long sandy beach &#8220;Les Rochelets&#8221; is open to the public. Like other beaches in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rochelets.com\/camping-saint-brevin\">Saint-Br\u00e9vin<\/a>, it is supervised in July and August. <\/p>\n\n<p>he lifeguard station offers tiralos for people with reduced mobility. This adapted beach chair rolls on the sand and floats on the water. Every day, from 1pm to 6:45pm, the beach lifeguard flag is raised by lifeguards. What do the flag colors mean?   <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>* <strong>Green flag<\/strong>: bathing is supervised and presents no particular danger.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>* <strong>Yellow flag<\/strong>: swimming is supervised but dangerous (bay, onshore wind, high waves, etc.).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>* <strong>Red flag<\/strong>: swimming is prohibited.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>If the flame is lowered, the lifeguard is in the middle of an intervention (sea rescue, for example) and swimming is no longer supervised.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Health and safety tips for the whole family on the beach<\/h2>\n\n<p>Between the sometimes large crowds on the beach and the dangers associated with swimming, here are a few tips for a safe summer.<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Tip 1<\/strong>: Choose a supervised beach. In addition to your vigilance, you can count on the help of lifeguards if the need arises. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Tip 2<\/strong>: Choose cool, shady spots. Avoid going out during hot weather. Choose times before 11 a.m. or after 4 p.m. to avoid prolonged exposure to the sun and the risk of sunstroke.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Tip 3<\/strong>: Protect your skin to avoid any risk of burning. Either with UV-resistant clothing, or with SPF 50+ sun cream.
