Between 1793 and 1796, the Vend\u00e9e War attacked the town of Pornic. Lost to the Vend\u00e9e insurgents, the town of Pornic was destroyed by fire. Relive this page of history during your vacation. During the Second World War, on June 26, 1940, the German army invaded Pornic and numerous blockhouses were built.
